Kodak C330 4MP Digital Camera is one of the cheapest and best one, you can also get cheaper ones of vivitar, practika or kodak..
for Camcoders Samsung VPD361 Mini DV Camcorder is the cheapest one which is a branded one and good.

I'd start to look at Canon products
they also have great cumtomer support (and in english too)
find the model number you like then compair shop the best
price, and comfort zone. BestBuy also*online* products
that are not carried in there stores, wonderful stuff, just ask
