You want manual zoom which is usually on the more expensive digital cameras. I have a Fuji with manual and auto zoom and you can put filters and extra lenses on it and it records video with sound. It has a 10x zoom equal to 370mm. I love it and it cost me around three hundred dollars. Now that it is a few years old I see them alot cheaper and newer versions too. Mine is an S5000. It looks like small 35mm film format camera and has most of the features of a film camera. Very nice. Try Ebay to find something similar in your price range.

you have all hte top information. compact cameras are not designed to seize stream. And are natually constrained by way of that. many times, once you are attempting to seize some stream, you prefer a minimum of a shutter velocity of a million/50 seconds to provide up your hand from shaking. you will want a swifter shutter velocity if the folk are shifting extremely right now. And once you're in a low gentle situtation like those you have defined. There extremely isn't lots you're able to do. The sensor is merely too small. there is no longer adequate gentle to seize. On digital camera flash merely seems terrible and extreme iso would not help adequate. (extreme iso enables, yet would not help adequate in the time of those indoor night time lights fixtures) i haven't considered a compact digital camera that could cope with this occasion yet. My compact is a canong G10, that's approximately as spectacular you will get, in need of a dslr. i'm in hte same boat. So i ultimately upgraded to a dslr. My setup for low gentle Canon 500D + 50mm f/a million.8 despite the fact that if from reading your question, you won't be inclinded to enhance. all of us might desire to stay with the barriers of your digital camera. And placed it to apply for what it does superb (that's why I own approximately 5 Cameras now)
