I am looking to buy a camera for an 11 year old girl. I don't have a clue where to start. She LOVES taking pictures so I would like to get her one that takes good quality pics but is sturdy because she is still young. Any help would be GREAT! THANKS!

I'm looking to invest in a Digital SLR camera. I've been looking at the Fuji Finepix series, particularly the S5600 and S7000 models. Also the Canon 300D.

Is there anything good/bad about these cameras?
What features should I look for?
What accessories are a must have?

Can you suggest any decent digital cameras for under £50? I want something pretty basic, it just needs to be cute (well, I AM a girlygirl) and take half decent photos.

Oh, and from a highstreet retailer would be good but amazon or eBay are also fine.

Any help?

My husband has a Sony Cybershot camera. Recently, I tried to take a few pictures with it. I don't really know that much about it, and didn't realize that the last time any pictures were taken w/it, that it was set up for a long exposure time (my husband had been taking nighttime shots). I left the exposure time the way it was, not knowing, and took pictures in broad daylight. Now, whenever we try to take a picture, it comes out overexposed and grainy? Did I destroy his camera? Is there any way to fix it? Please help. Thanks.

Most childrens digital cameras have poor picture quality. I need to find a camera with good picture quality and that comes with the computer software for downloads. Please remember this is for a 5 year old so it has to be durable and somewhat inexpensive. Under $100.00 Thanks!!

I would like to hear people's opinions of the Polaroid 1733LP specifically, or if anyone can find a review on a website because I can't. I know the specs already so I don't need that. But I've never used a polaroid digital camera so I would like to know if they are good quality cameras and if they are worth purchasing. There is one at walmart for only $150 with 7MP and I jsut wanted to make sure they are good cameras before I buy it. thanks!

I took some outside photos with my digital camera, but since it was so bright all of the pictures have a blue-ish tint to them! What photo editor can I use (if any) to fix them?

my sister has had her digi cam for about a year and then one day when we turned it on the whole screen was just all black, and when you take pics its all black, but then if you took like 2 or 3 pics it would go back to normal but now it just stays black no matter how many pictures you take, the flash seems to be different also, it doesnt seem as strong, and it turns off a lot even though the batteries seemed fully recharged.
i think it might have something to do with the batteries, help!!!

Skimming thru some answers a few days ago I thought I read digital zooms don't have high quality. Isn't there only 2 types of zooms, the digital and the older 35mm lenses? Looking at Nov 06 Consumer Reports they don't mention any negativeness.
