It's Canon PowerShot G5 plus a case, battery and a 128mb card.
In a good condition, from a guy I know.

My budget is nowhere higher than 300$ is there a better deal?

Well, I have a digital camera from like three years ago and it's uses AA batteries. It originally came with rechargeables but I lost 'em and just buy AA now. I go through TWO AA batteries every two days. Should I just buy a new camera? And what is ur camera like? 'cos I want to know if this is normal or not.

I like to take a lot of pictures of my family since I'll be leaving next year for school but I'm tired of buying new batteries and having them die on me.

Thanks.

I have over 100 slides from my military days in Korea & VietNam. I don't want to spend a lot of money. Some are so old the're starting to fade away. HELP!

Ok, so I have a canon powershot 410 or something along those lines.
Only problem is I have two problems with it:

1. my rechargeable batteries run out WAY too fast....like in less than a week when used very minimally. (to take maybe 20 pics).

and number 2..i have a 16mb memory card. it doesn't hold anything. I'm going on a weeklong cruise and I want to make sure my camera is juiced up and ready to take hundreds of pictures.

Does anybody have any advice? It would be so appreciated!!!

I connected my Fuji Camera to my Mac to upload my pictures and I deleted the pictures by dragging the contents of my daughter's camera to the trash. This is not how we typically delete. The camera now tells me that I only have the capacity for 12 pictures. We connect with I-photo. How can I get this memory card to go back to its true capacity.

The picture looks like a painting where the paint has been allowed to run. Very strange effect. I am trying to decide if it is a minor repair or something big.

it won't come with a manual.

I'd like to know how to 'program' the camera to do what I need it to do ie. what size aperture and what shutter speed do I need to use when I'm shooting:

A) Portraits [indoor, outdoor, static and candid] and
B) Landscapes [general panorama or with focal feature]

I'm OK with lighting, shot composition etc.

I'm starting a vintage camera collection if you want to know why I'm not going digital. This one in particular is a Praktica MTL3.

Thanks for your help :o]

I’m not a pro but I guess consider a photo enthusiast. I have a Canon Rebel XT, I just purchased a Canon 70-200mm L f/2.8

I have a 7 month old daughter that is my main model.

I was under the impression that this is the best lens for portraits and sport shots, and f/2.8 makes it so fast that it really doesn’t need very much light. However, I’ve experience the 70-200mm f/2.8 that it needs more light than my Sigma 12-24mm f/4.5-5.6.

Settings on dial is usually “P” could that be it? Does it work better on different settings?

Thanks,

Marvin

I have a 1gb SD memory card with images still on it which were taken with my digital camera. The camera stopped working and I was unable to delete the images as I had to take the camera back. Can I delete the images on the memory stick before I get my new camera?

Every digicam I've owned always takes forever to click and capture the photo -- for taking kids shots it's a nightmare! What do I look for when buying to see how "fast" a camera clicks? Or is just a "setting" issue? Thanks!

Nikon D50 for $699
Nikon comes with included 512MB memory card and following specs:

•6.1-megapixel
•SLR
•Five-sensor AF •2" LCD
•AF-S DX 18-55mm lens
•i-TTL Speedlight

Canon Digital Rebel XT: has no included memory card and the following specs

•8-megapixel
•SLR
•Seven-point autofocus •1.8" LCD
•EF-S 18-55mm lens
•PictBridge-enabled

Nikon D70s for $899 with free 512MB memory card and following specs:
•6.1-megapixel
•SLR
•Improved five-sensor AF •2" LCD
•AF-S 18-70mm lens
•i-TTL Speedlight

I can afford any, but is the most expensive one worth the add'l cost? I know the lens is better and that makes me think.

Which would you choose and why? When I add add'l lenses later, who will have more expensive ones?

Basically, if you could give me the pro's and cons of each with a final recommendation and what swayed you, I'd really appreciate it. I'm getting ready to buy the camera probably this weekend and I think I've narrowed it to these 3.
