My friend is sending a samsung camcorder VP - M110s from abroad with camera resolution 800 X 600. How many mega pixels is it? how is the image quality if it is 800 X 600 pixels.

The image will be fine for the web, but not so good for print. For example a digital camera today, such as a 6 mega pixel will give you a picture of 2100 x 2800 pixels (apx)

The resolution of 800*600= 0.48 mega-pixel. That's fine for viewing pictures on a screen, but lousy for making prints.

This is fine as a camcorder as most have a resolution of less than 1 megapixel. Do not use this for taking still pictures.

Low resolution. Good for a webpage for easy loading. Not for critical viewing however.
