Yes, if you have a card reader. You can delete the files just like any other file. It is best to reformat the card in your camera though. Sometimes, the card can be corrupted if you delete the files on the computer. You may just want to wait until you get a camera back.

yes. You're computer should have a slot on the tower where you can fit your memory card. Once you've inserted the memory card into your computer tower, go to My Computer and you'll see the selection of drives to choose from, usually named something like "removable drive" and then a letter like maybe F, I think. Open that drive and you should find your pictures. Then just right click on each file and select delete, or if you have a lot of files to delete hold down control and shift, select the first file and the last file to delete to select the group range, then delete them all at once. It's actually better to do this to delete your pictures than to delete them with the camera because that's just wasting down your battery unnecessarily.

Formatting should for most purposes clear the card. There is recovery software that might still be able to retrieve the deleted files. If there are pictures that are vitally important to obliterate, you should format the card and overwrite it with new files. Maybe point it at a wall and take HD video of that, or lots of pictures at high resolution or RAW. When it is full, format it again.

Yes, your computer should have an SD card reader. If not, you can buy a card reader to attach to your USB for under $20.

go to mobymemory.com and buy a usb2.0 reader.... format it on PC using FAT and not quick format... some camera's cannot cope with over 1GB size card and will format it only to 512MB therefore, you will lose space
