I connected my Fuji Camera to my Mac to upload my pictures and I deleted the pictures by dragging the contents of my daughter's camera to the trash. This is not how we typically delete. The camera now tells me that I only have the capacity for 12 pictures. We connect with I-photo. How can I get this memory card to go back to its true capacity.

Empty the trash before disconnecting the camera or the memory card. The reason is that the trash doesn't really delete the files until the trash is emptied.

An alternate method would be to reformat the card in your camera.

You can try putting it back into the camera and using the cameras format function to format the card. Not sure if it'll works as I've never had this happen to me, just a suggestion.

this happened to me to. I made files on the memory card using my camera. if you just delete pictures the files will still be there. go into setup and format the card, it will delete everything and the card will be like new.

or try going into the menu and changing the memory from the internal memory to the external... if that doesnt help, check to see if anything is on the card, and if not go back into the menu and try to find where you can format the card...
