I just bought a Canon Rebel XTi, my first SLR camera. I took my kids to the beach in the evening for a photo shoot. The sun was going down so the light was low. I used the Canon 28-135mm lens on Auto focus and in regular mode. I took lots of pictures and when I loaded them on the computer they looked great however when I print them out, you can see the pixels. They are not out of focus. I have tried reducing noise in Photoshop, sharpening them, using filters. Nothing works. I want to figure out what happened so I don't repeat. I don't know much about f/stops but maybe I had this set wrong. The camera automatically figured out the ISO setting.

I have my ps3 connected with a hdmi for video and av for sound. Now I got my ps3 directly connected to my surround sound using my av cables (which was included with the console) Now do I get better sound using my hdmi or better sound using my av.

My plasma tv's instruction manual says that the recommended source (dvd player) for my display is something that is in the 1080i format.Now I notice there is a fairly new format called 1080p and many dvd players advertise themselves as that.What happens if I buy one of these new 1080p dvd players but my plasma was manufactured before that format came out,will my display revert to 1080i or does the dvd player know what format is best for my display and automatically adjust for best available picture that the tv is capable of producing?

My boyfriend bought the Transformers HD DVD when it came out but realized he couldn't play it in his Xbox 360. Since he uses the console as his primary DVD player, I was thinking that that would make an awesome Christmas gift. Can someone tell me if there is a component so that he can watch his HD DVDs on his Xbox 360 and if so, where can I find it?

I purchased a modem and every time I move, I take it with me and register it with the new cable provider. But every time I get digital cable I have to rent the box from the cable provider. I have lived n three cities in the past 3 years and used three different cable companies. The boxes they rent to me are exactly the same. So are the remotes. My family membes also have the very same cable box. My modem payed for itself within 6 months. I imagine that if I owned my own digital cable box then in the long run it would pay for itself too. Why can i purchase a modem, but not a digital cable box?

I just got a Playstation 3 today and love it. The problem is, I put it on a shelf covered on the sides and back. The PS3 is exposed in the front to room temp and has some space to breathe on the side. I left it on from 6PM to 11PM today to download demos and despite hearing that the PS3 doesnt get too hot, the PS3 was actually warmer than the 360 has ever gotten for me.


I was wondering, could my PS3 overheat in there and should I keep it out in the open, should I keep it where it is, or should I get an intercooler for it if I plan on keeping it where it is? I have heard that those are just a waste of money though.

How did the Nike+ product integrate with the iPod and change its menu. Are there other 3rd party companies that do similar things, like the recording add-on? Did they need Apple's permission?
