They actually have coupons for these? How would I go about obtaining one or the incentives?

In reality, there is no better time to buy than the present. Retailers are obligated to uphold what is called MAP pricing, so basically you should find that no matter where you go, the price will always be the same.

Now something that you can take advantage of is gift cards, or in some cases coupons, or cash-back incentives.

A coupon really isn't need for a PS3. The price is already a steal for what you're getting. Most stores have this program where if you buy a PS3 you get 5 free Blu-Ray DVD's, but it only lasts for a certain amount of time though.

I would say that the best time to get a PS3 is now. There are plenty of exclusive games to play on it, and those games will keep you busy until 2008 for sure.

But the PS3's biggest and most anticipated games are coming in 2008, so if you don't want to buy one know, you simply have to buy one in early 2008 at least.

I suggest you buy the PS3 around March next year..
The prices should decrease and more games will be avaliable in more stores.
