I am going to get a ipod from a friend but he's only able to give me the ipod and the connector cord will I have to have the disk that comes with it when you first buy it or not ?

Ok so one of my friends is helping me be able to connect to a program but he did a lot of other things to be able to connect to it but it still didnt work so he is gonna get me all set up next week with a new OS and everything but for now......I need to connect to a dial up service and I want to do it manually but when i hit the option the only option i can get is Broadband...does anyone know anything to be able to help me out with this???

I stay in hotels a lot. All too often the Contrast and Brightness are turned down, making it hard to see details. To make matters worse, Hotel Staff NEVER seem to have a remote that will open the menu... not even the Maitenence Man.

Will it work to bring a universal remote, or will they not work on various Hotel TV's?

Hi guys, I am wanting to do some traveling out of the US. Most hotels though only offer wireless Internet. I do not know how this works. Do I go through Verizon Wireless? I dont even think they reach Mexico or Europe, etc. When a motel in Cancun lets say offers wireless internet ... exactly how do I get that Internet with a desktop computer? What do I need to do back here in the states and when Im in Mexico? Thanks a lot ===

I bought a TV this spring and it was "1080i". Now I look in the flyers and there is not one TV advertised as 1080i...only 720p or 1080p. Even the TV I bought is only advertised as "720p" now.

If I were to buy one today and it failed and I send it in, they would give me the newest one....right?

The reason I'm askin is I wanna buy one and i heard that they are getting 65nm GPU's in early '08. But if i bought one 2day (one that still is very likely to overheat) and it failed say....in late January (and they had 65nm CPU & GPU's ones out) would they give me the newer cooler, more reliable one? Cuz if ya then there is no real point of waiting right?
...I get that there is always a chance of getting a refurb or something... But to sum up what I'm asking is: When you send a Xbox 360 in do they send back the newest, best one or jus what u had b4?

I am trying to decide which one to buy. Zune has a bigger screen and FM radio, but the 6th gen iPod can store more songs. I want to buy the ipod, but it has a smaller screen and Fm radio tuner. I don't want to pay $50 for one. I have heard good and bad things about both products, but don't know which one to buy. Zune has a scratch-resistant screen from what I've heard. One question I have is if ipod 6th gen can take pics. I want to watch video, listen to music, listen to the radio, and take pictures. I've also heard that new versions of the ipod and zune are coming out by christmas. If there are any other mp3 players that are any good, please tell me! Thanks!
