It's not - at least not in my opinion.

It all depends on what you want. I currently have a 30gb video, which holds 7500 songs. However, I have nearly 500 songs, 4 movies, 8 games, 2 TV shows, 4 music videos, a bunch of pictures, and dozens of podcasts (both audio and video) and it still hasn't reached the halfway mark.

With the touch you can surf the net, watch YouTube videos (where you can listen to music anyway) ... plus it has that neat touch screen.

But if all you do is listen to music, then I dunno, maybe you want the 160gb space? Which is 40,000 songs. Hm. Nope.

Depends on what you want.

If you want to carry your entire music library with you then look at the classic. It comes in 80gig and 160 gig models.

If you want to surf the web via wifi, watch videos on youtube, buy from the online itunes store and have a touch screen then consider the touch. It comes in 8 and 16 gig models.
