Which is better, iPod or Zune?

I am trying to decide which one to buy. Zune has a bigger screen and FM radio, but the 6th gen iPod can store more songs. I want to buy the ipod, but it has a smaller screen and Fm radio tuner. I don't want to pay $50 for one. I have heard good and bad things about both products, but don't know which one to buy. Zune has a scratch-resistant screen from what I've heard. One question I have is if ipod 6th gen can take pics. I want to watch video, listen to music, listen to the radio, and take pictures. I've also heard that new versions of the ipod and zune are coming out by christmas. If there are any other mp3 players that are any good, please tell me! Thanks!

new versions of the ipod are NOT coming out by Christmas. they just came out! the ipods are much better. It is easier to get help for them if there ever is a problem, the itunes system is the easiest song downloading ever, and ipods are the easiest to navigate through! they do not take pictures, neither do zunes. ipods have cool games, though.

The Zune is a decent player, don't listen to people saying it "doesn't even compare to the shuffle" (which is a gimmick player probably released as a prank to see how many people would buy it anyway).

No MP3 players I've seen take pictures, they just allow you to view pictures.

I'd say go for the iAudio X5L (which is a totally badass player), but you want to watch video and it's not necessarily the best for that (only runs video at 15 fps).

Another good option is the Zen: Vision M (and other Zen players). They play video decently and have the features that you're looking for in a player.

Oh don't try to sell that crap mate. iPods have been out since 2001 and were practically the only decent option up until maybe 2003. Zunes have been out for a year and are competition against not only iPods but several other companies. So your reasoning's a little flawed.

Zunes are still having problems with integration even today. They only work on PCs and poorly at that.

There are so many more accessories and things available for iPods that it's not funny.

Both of these will constantly be upgrading and coming out with new, better versions. Whenever you buy something like this you risk being obsolete when the new version comes out.

Neither of them takes pictures. You can can an FM converter to plug into an iPod for less than $20 in Walmart. Go for the winner. iPods are so much cooler than Zunes (unless you get the brown Zune). Brown for goodness sake. Which marketing genious picked that color?

Zune!!!!!!!!!! I picked zune because i didnt like the restrictions ipod came with, for example, you cant share, and you were restricted to playing only from an itune store. what a bore! When i workout at the gym, its fun to use the wi fi thing a ma jig cuz you can see what other zune users are watching or listening too and have the option of sharing if you two agree.

iPod 100%
if you want a big screen, get the iPod touch which has a screen much bigger than the Zune.
Zune is a very bad mp3 and doesn't compare to the iPod. not even the shuffle, sadly.

i hav an ipod nano ut i chose zn cus it has video feature it has a biggier screen and is the sam cost as the nano
