Can anyone tell me where I can get a free cell phone or one of low cost without having to sign a new contract and stuff?

i lost my virgin mobile prepaid cell phone a few days ago, i cannot call it b/c the phone is out of minutes, and the battery might be dead by this point..... im 98% sure its in my house but i've looked all over for it and i just cant seem to find it... what can i do?

I have had my Samsung E840 for 2 months now. The handset slides up and down. I was using my phone and the piece of handset that slides up became detached from the phone so now it is in two pieces!! I did not use force or drop my phone and so think it is a manufacturers fault. I have been into my local orange shop and they said that if they send the phone away I will be charged as it looks like a fault due to negligence and being rough with my phone. This is definately not what has happened and I refuse to pay for it to be fixed because it wasn't my fault. I want to terminate my contract as they will not provide a new mobile phone for me. Unfortunately I do not have insurance for my phone but it should still be covered under the manufacturers warranty. No one seems to be able to help am I in the right here or by law should |I have to pay for my mobile. Any advice ont he matter???

There is a number that I called that I don't want to show up on my bill because i can't let my parents see it. Is there any way to get rid of that number or like change it to a different number so it looks like someone else called? I went online to AT&T and I did like an alias thing where I actually changed the number to another number and it worked on the print-out bill, but I think that the print out bill is different then the one they ship out. Please help me out! I will give best answer right away if anyone answers my questions. Thanks.

I recently bought a Cambridge Audio DVD player which upscales DVD's to a HDMI format. I was given a Cambridge Audio HDMI cable, ive plugged it in to my DVD player and into my Samsung TV but whenever i press source to get to the HDMI socket i get a message saying along the lines of "No Signal" What can i do to remedy this?

I just need a phone line to allow me to receive DSL signal for my $19.99/mo internet service. Comcast can never beat this internet pricing LONG-TERM. That is, more than the 6- or 12-month trial period where Comcast offers its lower prices.

AT&T's local charges are starting to creep up almost every month in 2007. Imagine paying about $10/month just for taxes and surcharges (that's $120/yr) even if my phone line doesn't even have long distance.

I also looked at Vonage but it's a catch 22:
Vonage needs internet
My DSL internet (non-Comcast because it's cheaper by half: $20 vs Comcast's more than $50/mo) needs a phone line

Therefore, for me to use Vonage I stil have to pay for my phone line.

I really don't get all this....I will always use my LCD for gaming so is 50/60Hz OK?? because I usually don't play car racing games and is 120Hz really a necessary..Will I see any difference? I have a mic, i have gotten it to work in my surround sound system before. but it isnt working. i have a caset player that is pluged into the surround sound system and it has 2 plugs that say mic left and mic right. i can hear sound when i play a tape but when i plug in my mic, nothing. im not shure if this is normal but i can plug it into the headphone jack and i say if i turn on the radio i can hear the radio coming out of my mic. im not shure if my mic is broken or im not doing something rite. its a 1/4 in size. ive gotten it to work along time ago but i cant get it to work now. so i need some help.

I have a Fujifilm Finepix S6500fd Camera and have a memory card installed. However I cannot find anywhere to tell me how to safetly remove the card from the camera. The last time I just took it out it corrupted all of the pics on it. I have reformatted the card but now have new pics which I cannot remove by uploading onto the PC at present as I am on holiday and need to change the card for an empty one. Help!
