I really don't get all this....I will always use my LCD for gaming so is 50/60Hz OK?? because I usually don't play car racing games and is 120Hz really a necessary..Will I see any difference? Is 50Hz or 60Hz ok for the PS3.....and please if you can tell which is the best brand of LCD to buy for PS3

ps3 games usually run around 30fps. So there will be no difference btw 60hz and 120hz. However with a 60hz lcd you might get some syncing problems, I don't know I use a dlp they are the "videogame tv's" because they process the image a lot faster than lcd or plasma. But at any rate, if the game is running in 30fps, then having a faster refresh rate isn't really going to make a difference.

You may have power confused with refresh rate. Any unit using both 50/60 Hz is so called universal and will play on both European and US power. In the US it is 120VAC @ 60Hz, for example. Any TV can then be used to "view" your PS3 games.
