Consumer Electronics - 18 October 2006

The real problem is that I've tried several times to record some movies by my DVD player and by TV but have not succeded so far.I also wanna know what is "SYNCHRO" recording and what is special about it......i am giving full details about my VCR the model is Sony SLV-GA55 Multi system PAL/ME SECAM/NTSC 3.58,4.43.Urgent Help required.......

I have a really nice stereo now, but never use it. It is too big, so I hide it behind the couch and never use it. I just bought the Philips SLA5500/37 and was surprised when it arrived to discover that the speakers were not integrated and I needed seperate speakers. Which I was trying to avoid.

The main things I like about this is one it is small and two it holds all my music. So, I am looking for something that would be able to come close to this, though I know it will be hard.

If I could get a small set of speakers that would work with this receiver that would be OK as well, I just don't want something big and bulky. I want the music to sound good, but something like a Bose system is just more than I really need. I mostly listen to the radio now.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a CD player or set of speakers that would match my needs?

Thanks!

P.S Silver would be my preference! Not a must though

About a month ago my ipod fell in the water. It had been out drying ever since. I've bben charging it for the past 3 days and now when I turn it on it the apple shows up then there is a smily face with x eyes...i know i should take it in but I want some other advise before I do. i was reading somewhere that a guy moded a ps1 lcd for a car to run off a computer and i was wondering if anyone knows if you can do the same with a ps2 lcd. and if the wiring is the same or does anyone know where to get the pinouts for both lcd screens help.

I was online looking for a printer and found one on sale. I went to the store to buy it and they told me it was not on sale. I ask them to go online and look. He did, came back and said it's not onsale. I bought it anyway. I came home and double checked and it was on sale. I called the store and they said print it out and come back to the store. I said no just take it off my credit card. After I talked to 4 people, a manager got on and said calm down. I did raise my voice so she hung up on me.

Now I'm pissed!!! I called their corperate office on the other side of the country and told them what happened and the printer was onsale. They ask if I wanted to file a complaint and I said yes, They also are sending me a giftcard worth double what I would have saved on the sale.

I'm still pissed!!! Do I call the BBB and accuse BestBuys of false advertising? The sales people were so friggin rude, I can't let it go. What would you do?

Any one know of headphones which can receive sound directly from a wireless microphone. I am looking for a solution for hard of hearing person who cannot understand answering machine messages clearly even at 40bd who said his doctor had such a set-up where the doctor's voice was perfectly clear.

There is a pic of the application im talking about. I click load and nothing happens, is there a file im supposed to load into the file? I've tried a notepad/wordpad file and it didn't work.... I cant type in it either
