That would be nice but I would suggest that you ask her parents if she would be allowed to have one.
If you want to get her something that pricey and with less of a commitment from you and also something that is less likely to anger her parents, why don't you go for an i-pod.
Good Luck!

I'd say to ask her parents first, cuz if you buy it for her, and they see it, they might not be happy with it. I mean, there is a pretty good reason why she doesn't have one by now and you do. If her parents see it, and don't like it, they'll most likely take it away from her...and that wouldn't be very nice for you since you bought it for her.

Another important thing to remember: cell phones on pre paid plans are A LOT more expensive than on a contract plan. That's the good thing about being on a contrat, the phones will be either very cheap, or free. But since both of you are underage, it's best you get a pre paid phone for her. Just be ready to pay $100+ for it. And make sure you ask her parents first!

very expensive present, very big responsibility. do either or you have jobs? you are both under age, cannot sign a contract....can't you just get her an age appropriate gift...a mall gift card or something?
