is Battlefield 2142 released for sale now? if it is, are the ingame ads annoying?

ads are the most hated thing in the world, created by satan to annoy the hell out of me, i truly hate them, but for EA to use them in a game with so much popularity is like taking the world and jamming a rusty nail into it. but i hope that they make the ads out of the way, like on crates, the big ones for the freaghter boats

I received mine in the mail 2 days ago, on the 18th. Haven't played much, but from what I see, and what I've read on the forums, the ads in game are not a big deal.

No not yet released and yes the ads are annoying.
