You can buy a new cell phone on line from Cingular or Verizon at a good price, but you probably have to sign a two year contract. So just check out those companies and other, and see which one has the better deal, and/or the phone that you like.

If you're using the word mobile rather than cell phone i'm guessing you're in the UK in which case you can get a free phone with free calls (by redemption). Sounds crazy I know but I just got my first cheque back so it does work

which country are you in? If uk, you can try ebay and buy from a buyer with high/positive feedback. However if you are prepared to pay line rental you can get a phone really cheap, often free. Just check how long you will be tied in for (some companies are up to 18 months) and how much your line rental will be each month.
