There has been a website gratis network, that has been giving out ipods and many other cool items for free. All you have to do is complete a simple offer that is like nothing, and refer 5 or more friends to do the same. Do you think I should do this? and will i actually get one?

I've recently upgraded from my 27" CRT with rabbit ears to a 50" 1080p DLP. But considering that I've just sunk a good chunk of money into this leviathan, where can I get the best HD entertainment bang for my (remaining) buck--DirecTV HD, Time Warner Cable's HD programming, or an HD-DVD player (Blu-Ray's out because the player costs twice as much...and HD-DVD seems to have more of the titles I'd enjoy)? I'd also figure in the factor that I've got a large DVD collection--would an HD-DVD player's upconversion really improve my experience?

i have a medion pna 100.....has anyone else had problems losing data when changing batteries over?....my back up battery does not seem to kick in and i lose all data when i swap batteries over,,,,is this normal?

I have a memorex dvd player, and sometimes I burn movie files onto a dvd, and the dvd player wont play them. But I have another dvd player also, and the dvd's play in that one. Whats wrong with the Memorex dvd player? Also I have movies in the AVI and MPEG mode. Does this make a difference? How do I convert AVI movies to MPEG's?
