If you go to an authorized retailer, you get the phone instantly. Before you get Helio though, you may want to check if they have EVDO (high speed Internet) up and running in your area. Helio pretty much sucks without it.

I should also add that unless you actually use the TXT messaging and Internet services, you will find HELIO overpriced. However, if you do use these enhanced services its a good deal.

don't waste your money with helio...my coworker got one and she doesn't like it...go with t-mobile's sidekick3 wayyyyyyyyyyyy better and you'll be wayyy happier because it has a full keyboard unlike the helio where you have to use the regular text and stuff but yeah not worth it and its HUGE it's like carrying a brick in your pocket...the sidekick 3 is also big but way better
