Or is digital cable required for all HDTV programming? I know you can receive local HD channels by using a set-top box, but was wondering if it would work with analog cable.

So... the story so far, I downloaded Starsky and Hutch on Bear Share and now I wanna watch 2 seconds of it on the computer to make sure it works. But when I double clicked it and pushed the play button this box pops up and says, "THIS VIDEO IS ONLY AVAILABLE TO MEMBERS OF "FIRST FAN REPUBLIC.COM" PLEASE REGISTER WITH US FOR YOUR 100% FREE ACCOUNT. So I went to their website to sing up but there's nothing on the homepage that says "sign up here!!" Can some one PLEASE help me....

I know there's an adapter available (I've seen them at K-Mart, Radio Shack, etc.) where one end connects to a single cable input jack on older TV's and the other ends have regular Audio/Video inputs like most current TV's & VCR's. I just can't remember what these type of adapters are called. Please help!

I have a PC. I use Yahoo music for my mp3's, along with replay-music. I record streaming audio to get my music on my mp3 player. I drag and drop. Well, I bought my son an Ipod shuffle and my daughter an Ipod nano. Itunes is not very PC friendly. Is this because I don't have a Mac? I haven't used Itunes at all. Can you listen to an entire song while running software to record streaming audio or do you only have the option to buy? I don't know. Ipods are in but it seems like it takes me twice as long to put the songs on them. But I guess if you use Itunes, it must be a piece of cake. This is so frustrating.

What's a very nice and GOOD phone from verizon thats out?

The chocolate's a piece of sh*t, i had it and i just sold it. It had the worst "buttons" and battery. I had the V, and it was alright but i hated that it was so BIG.
SO im back to my motorola e815, and its not bad...but i want a new phone.

any recomendations?

This telemarketing number calls my cell phone all the time. It's annoying. Anybody getting calls from this number too? Where did they get my phone number and how do I get them to stop calling me? Argh!

the second phone line was turned off, now I just want to change it so I can use the jack for the second line into the original phone line. How can I do this? Basically I want to activate TIVO in one room that has a de-activated phone line from a second line that's not used anymore. Play DVDs more than a few times?
It will only play a new DVD about 2-3 times, then it will say "Disc read error"
There is nothing wrong with the DVDs- no scratches, fingerprints or dirt on them!
