Thank you for your input. Just for future info, the seller is willing to negotiate if you spend more money on his buss. Besides you do have some rights as a consumer...

Search through the catalog. If it says all sales are final in the catalog, there is nothing you can do about it. If it does not tell you this in the catalog, you are entitled to a refund or exchange. Contact a lawyer.

I made the same mistake. I bought a leather sofa and cost me about 1K. It is uncomfortable to sit and kind of sliding feeling I have when I sit. The sale was final so I stuck with it.The lesson is learned that one should never buy chair and, or sofa without actually sit on it and see whether it is comfortable.

Maybe, it depends.

Check there return policy, if it says stuff about accepting returns then they're lying to you and you do.

If the product is not what you bought, like wrong color, wrong stuffing, not what is advertised,etc.. then under that you also have some rights.

However, just complaining about a sofa's comfort level doesn't qualify as any of that, there has to be more wrong with it then that. In that situation you have no rights and is stuck with the sofa.

You need to look at the terms of the sale. Unfortunately that's what happens sometimes when you cannot see and feel the piece in person. Talk to them and see if you can work something out.
