I have been trying to work with my mom on getting me a cell phone for the past 3 years it seems like I have used all the tricks in the book: for example "Mom if I get straight A's can I get a cell phone?" The answer has always been "No" HELP!

How old are you? That might be the reason why. But heres a very clever excuse to get you one. Just ask them for a go phone. Ask them for a Cingular Go phone. They got cool phones, you can buy time whenever you need it, your parents wont be forking out for an extra phone bill or line. Its all you, and they can buy you time anytime they want. Theres no hidden fees or tax or cost. The reception is the same as if you were on a real plan. The reception is great. Dont go with any lower end pre paid phone. I reccomend Cingular the most and you could always go with Virgin mobile, they got the new cool phone with the keyboard. Heres the 2 links for both

I'm a parent and I still haven't been convinced by my 10 and 12 year old kids that they should have a cell phone.

Hey do u go to the mall a lot or maybe somewhere very crowded well THATS YOUR ANSWER i got lost (my mom got me a cell phone) in the New York Auto Show i called my mom and i was not lost anymore. Say you can get lost and you can call your parents if you get lost
