Only you can answer this question, because it's going to be YOUR iPod. But you will need to determine your needs:
Are you going to jog or use them with any sport activity? Get the Shuffle
Are you more into watching videos? Get the Video version.
Do you have a small collection of music? Get the nano
Do you want to carry your entire collection? The 60GB is your only choice.
Whatever you choose, I'm sure you'll like it!

i would say an iPod video its a little bigger than a nano but you can put music videos on it and tv shows and other stuff like that without buying additional software that might harm it. and you can put songs on it too. if you want a lot of songs i would go with an IPod then because it can hold the most but it is the bulkiest. and iPod mini does the same thing as a nano exept its bigger. the nano is smaller and can store pics and songs. its the smallest one with a screen. the ipod shuffle is the least expensive but it doesn't have a screen and it cant hold a lot of songs. the choice is up to you.

Each is different and at a different pricing point. I like the Shuffle because it is the size of a gum stick pack, and I can work out easily with it without feeling it. I also like the iPod Nano, but it's bigger. Video iPod is ok, but you can get a handheld that is slightly bigger that can do a lot more, including play videos.
The answer depend on what you plan to use the iPod for.

When it comes to the features iPod video is the best choice. Has 30 and 60GB HD respectively, it suports viewing videos and you can installing additional app on it. Plus it has a large widescreen.
iPod nano has replaced iPod mini which is no longer available to buy new only on the auction sites such as e-bay. iPod nano has comes as 2 or 4 GB model it has a colour screen and can be displaying photographs but not playing videos.
Both iPod models are available in Black or White.
