I have a live concert on a mp3 that is 1 hour + long. I want to burn it to a cd but I want a track 1, track 2, track 3, etc. instead of one long cd with no breaks. What software do I use and how do I do it?

I purchased Vista for my computer about 9 months ago and have not liked it since. I got a steal on the 64 bit version and made all the necessary upgrades to accomodate it. I have had to upgrade everything except for the monitor. I cannot play many of the old games that XP was able to play. I really dislike like it and, at this point in time, will not be buying another PC in the future.

Does anyone else feel the same about Vista? Is Windows planning on adding any fixes to correct the problems?

OK, so I have a Sony PCG-FRV27. It's a great laptop. Two problems. 1) My mouse will tab on it's own and go back to a random part in a paragraph whenever I type. It affects all my programs: Word, Internet Explorer, everything. 2) When i open "My Computer" usually I can click " Drive C" and it will open the drive. But when I do click the drive, it opens a search window for the C Drive. So I have right click the drives to open them. When I do right click them, the "Search" option is bolded, instead of the "open" option. How do I change this? Thank you for your help. This will make me very happy if I can fix these two things.

My Kids Have so many dvd cartoons well most are like pokemon dragon ball z well you know what the kids are into these days, I dont allow my kids to handle the movies since they dont fullyunderstand about not how to take care of them, I am using a program called magic dvd copier/ripper, and noticed i had the option of converting the files to like MP3 or MPEG2 MP4 IPOD apple Tv Zune and so on, And i thought about hey could i convert the files to mp3 and fit more movies on one DVD save disc more convient for the kids, and was wondering will DVD except MP3 movies or MPEG2 since the file format is smaller and curious about the quality. and Ideas what greatly be appreciated, the kids will have there own dvds they can have and if they tear them up wich is gonna happen i can just then make another copy, I own the DVDs so I am not Ilegally copying them. I am tired of having to repurchase movies they like and would like to just burn another copy to replace the damaged one, seems smarter

Hi. I have determined that the system disk for an emachine has lost it's NTFS file system designation somehow.

I feel certain that the data itself is intact on there.
Now. short of bringing it to a recovery specialist, do I have any options?

I'm okay spending a few (maybe a hundred fiftyish) bucks to get a product that would work.

ive got a "ubuntu desktop CD".After inserting the disc and restarting the PC,the ubuntu screen comes with a 30 seconds timer on left hand side and options like---"start or install ubuntu","start ubuntu in safe graphics mode"..etc.

i hit enter on the first one.A pop-up window came saying "loading casper something".Then this window disappeard.

Now came the ubuntu screen with a PROGRESS BAR.
it said "loading essential drivers"
i waited for five minutes there but nothing seemed to happen.The progress bar showed 0% completed.
i kept the PC running & went out to have a walk.On returning after a 30 min long walk,it still shwed the same old "0% completed" crap.
i tried rebooting 5 or 6 times but no gain.......
The progress bar just dosen't advance!!!
Any recommendations?????

I just got done writing an 8 page essay and when I press enter to make a new paragraph it makes an extra space between the two paragraphs (it's already double-spaced) which I remember my professor specifically telling us not to do. Does anybody know how to get rid of that? I tried looking for it through Format: Paragraph but I could not find a thing. Thanks guys.

so i want the text to be ON TOP of some of the pictures that i put in

right now all the pictures are overlapping the text so you cant read the words.

i know how to do it in microsoft word, the picture toolbar has buttons that say "overlap text" ect.

please help. i need to know like right now.

Hi, I've been thinking about switching from vista to linux. I know Linux isn't such a memory hog like vista is but by how much? I would be running this on my lap top. (presario: 1gb ram, 128mb video card, 80gb HD, 1.6gHZ AMD) What performance gains would I see, if any? I don't care about the prettyness of vista(I turned most features off to make my comp. run more efficient including aero) I'm just tired of wasting all my money on windows which is really restrictive. My computer knowledge is intermediate to a little advanced, long time windows user and never used any other operating systems, and I would also like to learn c++. What else should I know about linux? Where can I get a copy and what software do you recommend with it? Any input appreciated. Thanks.

When I right click on any file in XP it is normal for one of the options on the menu to be SEND TO

This option has dissapeared from my right click menu. Does anyone know how I can restore this option as it is one I use often

I am facing a problem in generating a query which is like this..

IN a given table, two columns having two different dates like One starting of project, and the second is ending of project.. Now i wish to generate a query with the days available for any project completion.

ex : startdate : Jan 1, 2007 enddate : June 16,2007

Now in the query .. what i need to do to get the difference between End date and startdate. I need to repeat the same for ten projects which is all given in single table.

im trying to install my audio driver because i accidentally uninstalled the realtek. then, when im installing the audio driver, the message box says " the setup has detected the version of the installed on your system is lower than what is necessary to apply this setup. At minimum, you must have service pack 1 installed for windows xp." what does it mean? what should i do? please help me.. i really need help. thanks

what websites have videos that you can add to powerpoint, and how do you do it? I tryed to get youtube to work, but had little success. I also dont wish to hack anything, or use any mods or anything like that, is there an easy site that will allow me to get videos that I can use. I short videos about air force pilots if that helps.

It was fine literally two hours ago, and now it's going berserk! Whenever I click on a program on my desktop, it highlights like four other programs, so they all open up! Or it says, "UnEraseWizard" on all programs may be slower for my computer? or something along the lines of that. Then it sometimes says there are 1475 protected files on this computer, choose to "purge 1475 files" or something. And when I open up Mozilla Firefox, when I try to enter something, it automatically opens up a new window. And I have to have "caps lock" on for me to type correctly? It's so weird. Someone please tell me what is wrong with my computer. Thanks in advance.
