you are suppose to be able to select a file by clicking on it and then drag it and drop it into a folder but for some reason my computer wont let me drag it and drop, im having the same problem when trying to create a playlist in iTunes, i can select the song but i can not drag and drop it into the list i want it in. What can cause this?!?

I've installed the latest Firefox out this week (2.0.0.11). Since then I've noticed that some pages don't display like they used to. For instance the menu bar at the left of YAHOO's main page is often blank. If I hit the RELOAD or move the cursor over the area, it will appear. Also, like in some chat rooms, my system will suddenly freeze.

My computer is using Windows 98se for an OS, I have a n 800 MHZ Pentium III processor and 256 MB RAM. My AV and firewall are provided by my ISP and are part of EZ TRUST.

I'm trying to get a formule to show how long somebody has been employed.
I have a column of the start dates.
In the next column I need a formula to work out how long they've been employed.
At the moment I'm using

"=YEAR(NOW())-YEAR(K36) & " years, " & MONTH(NOW())-MONTH(K36) & " months " & DAY(NOW())-DAY(K36) & " days""

This gives me the correct years, 1 month over what it should be, and the days are negative e.g. -24.

Any ideas welcome

I'm looking for a good program to download to edit photos. Not only to crop or resize but also to add designs and art. I would also like to make my photos in black/white. I have Windows XP. I'm only going to download a trail version first to see how it works so if you know the site where i can get it from, that would be helpful.

Oh! and one more thing, I tried Adobe Photoshop from Download.com and I logged into the Adobe to finish the rest of the download but the site wasnt' working.

if i update software like iTunes, will it just add on to my computer and will i have to delete the old iTunes myself? or is it supposed to overwrite it or something? because i've updated software before and when it was finished i noticed i had less memory on my computer.
and if i do delete my old itunes, is there a way i can carry the songs over to the new itunes?

OMG I'm freaking out! I accidentally dragged my iphoto out and when it touched the desktop it disappeared and now I dont know how to recover it!(my hand slipped) Is it gone forever?! What should I do?! Damn it would suck because if I cant get it back I wont be able to take any more pictures with it and my friend will get angry at me when she finds out. :(

I use Windows Movie maker and I just finished a video to put on youtube, (my first one) but it won't let me save it! I press save to computer and it goes through all the stuff but then while it goes through the progress of saving, a screen pops up saying "Windows movie maker cannot save the movie in the current location. Verify that the location and clips used are still available and that there is enough space." I have tried to change the location and everything seems fine and there is plenty of space! WHAT'S WRONG??!?!

I have changed the values of one item in my Filemaker database.

It was a series of tick boxes in a field called "Awards'. I changed the names of the tick boxes, and now I cannot find the export document whenever I try to export the data.

It always used to go to my desktop, but now I have amended the tick boxes in the 'Awards' field, the export document doesn't show up anymore. What can I do to fix this?

Grand total wont work because I'm trying to get the sum of every other column. For example, I want to the sum of column B, D, & F to appear in column H. I dont want to do add individual cells because it will take too long.

My cousin sent me a cute little program offered by Office Depot called Elfyourself. It has dancing elves and you could put the faces of your children or grandchildren in it. Since I am a picture illiterate, it took me 3 hours to do this. Now I can't open it. Any suggestions?

I have a windows XP, Home Edition,Version 2002,Service pack 2, Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.00GHz, 2.99GHz, 504MB of RAM. And I am using Adobe Premiere Elements 2.0. I have 38minutes and 12 secs of footage,after I edit my footage it is good, but when I export it to a dvd it looks echoey a slight blur, while my charactors are running, it is really anoying, and it hurts the eyes. what can I do to fix it. It keeps freezing my computer and breaking my internet connection. I've updated my modem drivers but that only helped for a few minutes. I'm running Windows 98 on a year-old USR Winfax 56K modem.

Sometimes, when I want to log off of my computer, I get a box that pops up saying _PTAHYDRA is closing. I have also noticed my computer is slower than normal, and sometimes will not load a page on the Internet. I have used ad-aware, and it still pops up. Can anyone tell me what this is, and what I can do about it. Keep in mind I am a novice at computers.

well i have a question....when i turn on my computer. it start to load windows and then it shows the blue screen quickly and restart the comp...and it only happen with the SATA drives...i tried the old ones and it worked...then i took other SATA hard drive and it didnt work (same prob.) i tried to connect it to another SATA port...but still the same problem when i insert the windows CD and try to format the comp. it says that it cant find any hard disks...so...well i thought maybe something wrong with the Motherboard but its not that cuz the old hard disk i mean the one with the IDE connector...still work...so does any one have any ideas on how to fix it? any thing will be helpfull...thx =)

I have an Acer laptop and normally when I insert my xD pix card, it loads the pictures automatically. Last night when I put it in, it did nothing and I can't get my pix up? Anyone have suggestions? Thanks!
