first of all i will tell you the computer i wrote this on is not the one with the problem
i have a newer computer and while i was on the internet a blue screen with a buch on #'s, writing, and a sustaned sound.
this has came up before on all of my other computers but dont much of it. so i turned off from the on button and restarted it but when it started up it took about 3 min to get to the log in page(usually there in a couple of seconds) and an other 3 to get to the desktop(couple of seconds) when i finally get to my desk top the start button at the bottom of the computer is not there or time/running programsit like some one moved it down under where its suppost 2 be all of my desk top icons can't move i am only able 2 access the control pannel through task manager a lot of the programs on the desk top will not start up my itunes will not play the songs it says something about and audio not compatable the internet pops up and disapears basically i cant do nothin

please help

Hi, I need to change the color of C1 if the condition is False. The Condition is A1=B1. We can get the output by using simple true or false formula, but I need to change the colour of the cell if the condition is false. Please suggest me....

My teach said that I could bring in my Vista laptop to school and then she said that I couldn't today and it is due tommorow. I've been working on it for about 2, maybe 2 and 1/2 months and I've been doing it on Vista all this time. Please help me ASAP!!!

I've noticed recently that my upload bandwidth is always at its maximum, even when I'm not downloading anything. Browsing speed has suffered as if the computer is uploading something all the time.

I haven't installed any new software and when trying to restore my PC to an earlier time, I find that all my restore points are gone!

Could it be some trojan or worm? I'm using McAfee total protection and it didn't detect anything. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Ihave down loaded pictures from my camera onto my computer ,however when I try to delete any of them it just makes a copy .I highlight the pictures, right click, left click delete hey presto I have another copy. I thought it maybe the mouse but that had no effect still getting more copies upto 76 so far!!!!!! any ideas please

Every time I play a media file of some sort on any program, a Nero message pops up repeatably saying "this program requires the file advrcntr.dll, which is not found on this system". This computer came with Nero 6 already installed but I uninstall it by accident. It's reinstall now but it's still going crazy about it. I think this problem is in the registry or somewhere else. I don't want to upgrade to a newer version so can you help me out? Please?

Okay, my friend gave me this powerpoint to watch and when i put it in my laptop it doesnt work and nothing pops up and when i go under windows media player and itunes and stuff it wont play. Then i tryed it on my computer and it dont work. And i have microsoft powerpoint on my computer and that didnt work either. ;/ whats wrong? And i need to watch this quick!

I have to write a Pascal Program in Delphi 7 for part of a project for a module, but have no idea how to do it. It is group work but the guy in our group who was writing the program has left, so none of us know how to write the program.

here is part of the brief

You are to design, write and implement a program to be used as a simple student database. The following information needs to be stored for each student:

• The student’s first name
• The student’s surname
• The name of the student’s course
• The student’s average mark.


We still have the code from the last project, and were told it is similar if that helps.

Please let me know if you can help us, as it is in for Friday lunchtime.

As the deadline is so close we could even agree upon some $ if it would speed up the process.

When asking about prices, in Best Buy they told me that if I bought the MacBook Pro along with a Windows XP, they could install on the laptop Bootcamp and Windows XP for an additional charge.
Later, I found out about Parallels for Mac. So, if they install Bootcamp and Windows XP on my laptop but later I want to switch to Parallels, do they have to reinstall Windows XP to do it properly? I’m asking because I guess it’ll be an additional charge all over again.

I have DVDfab. i want to rip the main movie only. and the finished result to be about 700mb in avi. format. i want it only on my hardrive.

For example.. i used DVDfab and ripped a movie into my computer, but the result was about 4 vob. files and the size was about 4gigs.

so how can i get these 4 vob. files into ONE big file. and how can i get it to 700mb. i do not want to burn anything on a disc, i just want it on my hardrive

i need someone to photoshop my image for me. i need the stamp background to be WHITE not the grayish color it is. ive worked like heck to try to fix it but i dont really know how. can someone do it for me? and i need the blue on the stamp to be a LITTLE bit darker.
