How do I make an excel formula for (C*.078)+(D*.101)=E?

Question

I need to multiply the value of cell C by .078 and add it to the value of cell D multiplied by .101 Then show the result in cell E and I need it to be a repeated formulae all down column E

Click on the Cell where you need the answer( say E1) then type following

=(c1*.078)+(d1*.101)

Please make sure that in C1 & D1 are not blank.
click enter
if you need to follow this formula in to the entire E column, then by clicking on the first cell(E1), and drag down.

As Nair says but you need to highlight all the cells below that you want to copy this formula to and then click on "Edit - Fill down"
