how can we edit a scanned document in system?

i want to edit a line in my document file in the system which i scanned into my system. can u plz tell me, how can i do it.

Photoshop.

Open the document if you still have it.
Edit it, then rescan it.

If you have already deleted it, convert the scanned document via OCR (optical character recognition) to convert it back into a text file.
Edit it.
Then rescan.
