Software - November 2007

Every time that I try to open up a new document on my Microsoft Word Program instead of a blank page there is a picture automatically pasted on it. I have tried deleting it and everything. How can I get rid of the picture?

Ok here is my problem. I am to have all of figures in sheet two and sheet one will be a spread sheet to fill out. Basically in the field of B4 on sheet one they will enter a dept number. In the field of B8 it will pull the figure from sheet two based on the figure they entered. Example of an IF formula I tried to use:

IF(B4 = 34, Sheet2!B34, IF(B4 = 35, Sheet2!B35, IF(B4 = 36, Sheet2!B36,IF(B4 = 37, Sheet2!B37))))

Ok that works find but I have 98 different dept numbers they can enter to pull figures from. Problem is on my computers at work they have an older excel on it and it is limited to the number of nested formulas can be used.

As you can see depts are in order on Sheet Two. Anyone know of an easier formula I could use to get this to work on Excel? I am sure there has to be a way.

I keep have alot problems with vista. First the videocard driver keeps failing so the screen keeps going bank then it comes back and a error message tells me theres been a problem with the video driver.Then explorer.exe keeps crashing then the usb 2.0 stopped working untill i restarted the pc then they worked again.

My question is , Would i have these problems with windows xp sp2 ? i never have known problems like this when using xp.

It cant be any of my hardware because the pc is new the tft screen is and its just doing my head in.

I think vista was released to early without having the proper support. not many of the cames will play under vista or programs unless you run them under xp sp2 mode by going in to properties.

Also my hard disk space has vanished theres 20gig left of 120gig.

Also would xp pro be faster then vista i want to get the best use out of my 3ghz worth of core duo processor and my 1gig of ram.

thank's ray for your help but when i left click on re -bin. it show's me open cclearner .but when i try to open it show's me (choose the program you want to open this file )

I am using Excel and try to wrap the text in one cells but when i wrap the text it will only show 2 lines and some text are cut off not showing. How to wrap the text so all the contents will show in one cells. The text i want to wrap will be "Market Adjusted High (Long Reverse Entry Point Variable". Everytime i wrap the text it will only show 2 line and cut off some of the contents

I bought a converter from Apollo. I have the program downloaded but it doesn't work. Whenever I try to convert something the icons don't work. Am I doing something wrong?

Hello: I am somewhat new to MS Excel 2003
With my co-worker we create 2 different spreadsheets of the phone call that we do during the month. I would like to know if there is a way that we can create one shared spread sheet were we can both work from and save simultaneously. If it can’t be done what do you suggest??

I cannot stop my computer from dialing an internet connection on its own. I will be away from the computer, or, doing something in a program, and the "dialing/connecting" pop-up comes up and I hear my modem dialing. It is very frustrating . How can I control this or stop it?

I have windows xp SP3 installed in my computer in drive c:. Now i want to remove that xp and install windows xp SP2. bcz SP3 isn't genuine, but i have genuine SP2. but the problem is that, i can't format c: drive bcz i have visual studio 2008 installed in it, of which i don't have the setup, and its size is also to large for me to download. Pls tell me any way to REPLACE my existing xp?????? remember i don't want to format c: drive.
