"What you see is what you get."
Preview your file by clicking on the print preview button.
This is important in case you have set your margins or borders beyond the built-ins of your printer. Print Preview will show you exactly how your file will print.

Sometimes I put a note to myself in a file but do not want it to print. In this case, I select the note, click Format, Font, and click "hidden text." You can choose to see or print hidden text, or not.

I like to see it, but do not want to print it. A file may show a blank line where there is none. Print Preview will show you exactly how your file look when printed.
