I have converted a Real audio/Real video VBR video file into Xvid file through Media Coder. But it lost the audio completely. I have also converted it into MPEG-4 but I have got the same result. How can I convert this file correctly?

I think you can convert the file, but first create a copy of the file. Don't try the following on the original file.if the file has an extension ie.. file(any file name).doc/file.pdf the rename by rigth clicking on the file and select rename, then change the extension ie..the name is followed by '.' an then the extension just change the extension to "XVid" or the file extension of a XVid file.It might work.

I think you have to tweak a little bit on the audio parameters before you convert.
