I want to take it off to put it on ObjectDock's dock, so I would just have one Start button, but I still want to keep the taskbar with all my active icons and open windows and all of that.

I recently bought a dell inspiron 1520 and it comes with windows vista but i would like to install windows xp and ubuntu also . I know it is possible but how hard would it be ? How do i do it ?

When I'm watching a movie or listening to music on my computer, it sometime freezes on 1 sound for a while or the program prompts me to close it. This happens with iTunes, Windows Media, and Divx. I always delete movies after I see them and also defragment my drive and disk clean-up occasionally. I shut down my computer almost whenever it is not in use. I have almost half of the memory on my computer free. What is causing this?

I wanted to set up a small corporate wiki server so that the employees of my company can have a place to make informal documentation. I was hoping someone could help me by sharing his expertise. I used Twiki before in a another company but I saw that setting it up is very complex. I was hoping someone could point me towards a simple solution that I could get up and running quickly. I don't need an abundance of features, I just want to have a collaborative documentation server. The server will run either a linux distro or Windows depending on what the easiest solution I find is. If anyone knows of a simple solution I'd really appreciate the help. Keep in mind that I have no idea how to use any scripting languages (I can learn, but I'm shooting for a solution simple enough not to require scripting knowledge)

I copy and try to paste a picture and then I try to open it and it says "no preview available. How can I arrange my settings to allow me to paste a picture in "My Pictures" because it won't do it???? I am on Windows XP.

Can anyone explain to me how to disable those extra characters when I'm typing. When I hit the space bar it makes a dot, and when I hit the enter key it makes those little paragraph symbols.

For some reason when I go to start a new document the page size is all to pot. I call call up previous documents and the pages are normal but as soon as I start a new page the document seems to fill up the whole screen so I can't actually see the page any more. Print preview shows everything but when I go back to normal then some of it's disappeared. I've spent nearly an hour and a half going through everything I can find to do with page resizing and I can't fix the problem. Can anyone help, please??!! Trying to make posters for a fundraiser and it's all gone wrong! Thank you.

Somehow Explorer got on task bar and I can access it by right clicking. If I want icons from Desk Top I must left click with middle finger and that's difficult for me. How do I get other desktop icons on task bar so I can activate them by right clicking.

I previously asked where to find color palettes to use for painshop pro and may have asked it wrong....I wasn't referring to the materials colors but the palettes when you click on image and go down to where it says palette. Okay, first of all, let me get this out of the way:
I AM NOT SUPPORTING OR SUGGESTING ANY ILLEGAL ACTIVITY AS FAR AS I'M AWARE

I'm not asking for an emulator to play downloaded, illegal games on.

With that being said...

I'm looking for the type of emulator that allows you to put your Playstation 2 discs into the computer and play them on your computer. I have one that works for the Playstation 1, so I figured there might be one for the PS2 as well.

The reason is that I have about three PS2 games now, but I don't have a PS2 or the money to buy one.

If anyone knows where you can find a PS2 emulator so I can play my games on the computer, please let me know where.

And again; I am not supporting illegal downloading of games.

I know that to insert a link into text one enters http:// but I have encountered examples where the writer has stated something like "for further information, click here. "Here" is in blue and clicking on "here" takes me to the intended link. How is this accomplished?
