If you program, whilst developing your program
you constantly get this and therefore is a programming
error.

In C++ you can use the command ASSERT to determine
whether something you expect to occur, has or not, at
any particular time, if not you will get this message.

Sometimes it is innocent and the program proceeds
as you expect (but it is bad practise to not know and
not fix it).

This, however, does not help you as this message to
a program user is just a nuisance. Apart from the
author of the program you are using debugging it,
there's not too much you can do.

More info is needed to answer that question. I had a problem installing adobe on a friends pc recently that was giving me access errors and a box asking me to rety or abort was popping up. It had to do with him having his shared document's folder in the C drive being set to read only. Adobe needs to create a folder in there so maybe try right clicking the folder and unticking the box that says read only. That could be your problem, then again no one knows unless you update your question and include the error message(s).

It looks like a Visual Basic error.

Uninstall Sophos anti-virus & install AVGfree instead.
