I know that to insert a link into text one enters http:// but I have encountered examples where the writer has stated something like "for further information, click here. "Here" is in blue and clicking on "here" takes me to the intended link. How is this accomplished?

Depends on what the site allows first is html second is bbcode i believe

Whatever text you want here

an example
Cyber Dunk

Or it could be [URL="link here"]Whatever text you want here[/URL]

Example
[URL="http://www.cyberdunk.com/?ref=23802 "]Cyber Dunk [/URL]

There are several more different ways, but I would say these are the 2 big ones that most sites use. If you cant get either one to work, i can try and help figure out what the site your on needs

By going to that web site, on the URL address, right click, copy, paste in your document or Email

sometimes when typing in the url (http:...) the address automatically comes up "hot" for a direct link

the "here" option is "Imbedded" link, not sure of that procedure. drat.

have fun
