Should i upgrade from microsoft office 2003 to office 2007?

I have the program with me, however, i want to know whether it is worth upgrading because i heard that there are glitches and alot of the features are spread around everywhere.

From what I've read about the tech capabilities of 2007 over 2003 there really isn't any difference.

Sure 2007 will have a few bells and whistles that are different but the overall program itself is 98% the same. From what I have read, it's simply not worth the money to upgrade or purchase a full up copy. If you have 2003 I'd say stick with it.

I have 2007 and 2000 and I've decided to simply keep using 2000 because it's compatible with all the older and newer versions. No so with 2007. It is not backward compatible beyond 2003.

Not only that but OpenOffice is a much cheaper (FREE) option and you get almost all the same capabilities tha MS Office offers.

In my opinion, there's NO advantage to upgrading to Microsoft Office 2007 and a great deal of disadvantage. The interface of Office 2007 is entirely different than previous versions of Office (utilizing something called a "ribbon") requiring a great deal of retraining for someone conversant in earlier versions of office. It also saves documents by default to a proprietary format incompatible with earlier version (though there are easy ways around this). This is a product that was completely unnecessary.

2003 would not have 2007 "ideas" although 2007 incredibly does have 2003 "ideas" subsequently upgrading it may well be your best option by way of fact you will nonetheless shop some advantages of 2003 yet no longer lose the probabilities you get with 2007.

So you paid $150+ or illegally downloaded it and now wonder if you should install it? LOL

If you legally own Office 2007 install it. If not install the 2007 compatibility pack for Office 2003.
