I have a full version of Windows 2000 pro and an XP Home upgrade from my old laptop. I need to remove Vista from the new on and get XP installed. Is it easy? I cannot run most of my needed software on vista.

Anyone with GOOD knowledge and experience of both please tell me :

(1) is Vista any better than the Pro version of XP and

(2) in what ?

I am just concerned that getting a new PC with the std version of Vista I will end up with an operating system INFERIOR to my present XP-Pro. Help !!!

which one do you prefer and why. have always used microsoft money but looking at new computers and they seem to only have Quicken on them. what is up with that and is it worth spending my money on getting the microsoft money program? thanks for your input on this.

I want to create a product CD that contain product information, application notes, powerpoint, documents, video, voice etc in a well organized manner. i recently lost my digital camera and all i have is my phone to take pictures with, my mom cut my multimedia messaging off so i can send them to my email anymore.
is there a way to make my phone recognize my computer as a bluetooth device so i can send my pictures?

my school requires that i have an actual antivirus program in order to use internet. i have macbook pro and plan on using parallels soon. i found that intego offers a dual protection package but i cant seem to find any reviews on it. should i get the antivirus dp or internet securit dp which has antivirus, firewall, antispam, antiphising, antispyware. im leaning on the internet security one but would it slow down my mac performance

My source is --> G:\MUSIC
My destination is C:\MUSIC

My attempted command line was:
xcopy G:\MUSIC C:\MUSIC /s /e /h

It started to copy fine but then it came across the following file in the following subdirectory
G:\MUSIC\70's\Janis Joplin 10 Cd Essential Collection
It the said = Unable to create directory.

What xcopy line will copy everything regardless of how long a directory - subdirectory - file name is or regardless what charachters are in it.

Any ideas? thanks

the computers were only set up with Microsoft works. Anyway, it is supposed to let you set it up on 3 computers so last night it was too late for us to set up her computer so I put the software on my computer. When I set up her computer today it had that program on it already but you had to enter the registration code, which I had from the box, but not everything was on there...like not all the clip art. Sorry this is so long, but should I uninstall the one that is on the computer and reinstall from the disc she bought? Since I already put that code in there is it going to still be able to be used twice again? Sorry, we are very new to this! Thanks.
