Type the exact name of the virus in google and you will find instructions for removal. Only follow links from trusted sites like symantec.com, mcafee.com, or CA.com. do not go to sponsored links or anything that says "remove trojan blah, blah, blah" for free that has a suspicious sounding URL.
Then go to AVG antivirus home page and download the free version for personal use. It is the best antivirus and it is free.

Go here for the free version of AVG antivirus. I am using it right now.

I suggest you download and save to your desktop. Then, go into Safe Mode and continue from there. In this way, Windows will not be loaded and hopefully, you will catch any self-executable files.

To get into Safe Mode:
Restart
immediately press and hold down the F8 key
soon you will see a black and white menu
selete the appropriate number for Safe Mode

Now, double-click the AVG icon to install.
Run it

When you exit Safe Mode, your icons may be out of order. Just drag them back.
