I downloaded the trial version of adobe photoshop cs3. got a working serial number and put it in and it said activated and then all the sudden said license expired. i uninstalled everything, ran the cs3 cleaner from adobe, rebooted then re installed cs3 and the same thing keeps happening. i know a lot of other people have been experiencing this but i have yet to find a answer that solves anything. can anyone help

I have a 3 year old Dell Inspiron 5100, and now runs very slow. I was advised to reload windows, as this will eliminate spyware and cookies from using it for 3 years. I have the reloading disks from dell. How do I reload it? Do I just insert the disks, or do I need to do something else first to ensure a smooth reload?

The defrag Button, when pushed gives me a screen that's all binary...with letters and mumbo jumbo....bottom line...how do I fix my defrag on my computer? Mybe a site I can go to...anything to help. MikeBflony@aol.com

It's a Compaq, and has Windows XP. I deleted most everything on it, and it was working fine. I've recently downloaded AIM, iTunes, and installed a wireless receiver, and it's back to freezing or restarting.

i just spent half my day downloading the trial and now it's in my documents an .exe document.......what the hell do i do???!!!
everytime i click on it to open it , the computer asks me what program i would like to view it in and ive clicked on every program and nothing happens....HELLPPP??!!!!!!!!!!!!

So I clicked this advertisement by accident,and it dowloaded this program called "Mirar" on my toolbar.Everytime I right clicked to uncheck it and keep it out of sight,it always comes back when I exit out of internet explorer and when i restart it.Is their anyway I can get rid of this program called "mirar" ?

ive done the vista upgrade advisor and that says its fine to download anything upto Ulimate Vista. Now i dont want to ruin my computer so will getting Vista ruin it? My friend says it may ruin my computer but i thought i might ask you guys aswell..

I have an extremely old pentium 3 550mhz processor, with 384mbs of ram and a 20 gig hard drive. I dont know what the smallest linux that doesnt run off a live cd is. I have used slax portable linux but i want a permanently installed os (preferably with a kde interface and maybe looks like ubuntu) and I dont want to permanenly install slax becuase it still functions as a live cd, just running from the hard drive.

So the bottom line is, I need a list of small sized linux OS's with links to a download. remember, I am choosing a best answer.

Are there any drivers I can add to make it better.
Before i got all the memory erased from my hard drive i was able to use the Project64 Emulator but now I can't. My hard drive is practically empty and i don't have a video card.
I just want to make my gaming better. Please don't tell me to get a video card because it's hard to find one compatible with my motherboard.

When I go into a website that offers a virtual tour, say of a hotel, etc, I can not get it to run or show - all I get is a box with a little red x in the upper left hand corner. I tried clicking on the x, etc and still can't get the tour. What do I need to do or what is missing from my software that won't allow me to see the tour.

Which should I get, I'm going to be going to college soon and I'm buying a laptop, I need one that I will be able to use, that will also be compatible with the other systems or word documents that the professors might use.

That's another question, I heard Vista has compatibility issues, with what exactly?


I don't want to buy a notebook with vista then end up having to uninstall it and buy XP because of the bugs and compatibility.

If I get XP and need vista in the coming years, how much will vista cost to buy?
