I keep a file of accounts, registrations, passwords, etc, then protect the file with a password by:
File
Save AS
in the Save as window, click Tools
click General Options
look for the "password to open" box
enter a password
confirm it
now try to open the file
just don't forget the password

You can always just create a text file either in your computer or your Yahoo! Notebook.

you can use ewallet to keep password and important information.
