it doesnt appear if I want take an action, some messages when I tried to burn it tells me there is not any cd in the unit, I dont know what's wrong? if my laptop which is compaq pressario v2405US i dont know it doesnt have for burning dvds or it's the cd that I bought today plz help me

Basically, I used the resume template in Word 2000, and now need to remove the information in each field. Whenever I use the resume wizard, the information has been retained. Surely there is a way to remove all the information in each field so that I can use the resume wizard over fresh, where the fields arent automatically filled-in? Thanks.

quite a while ago my computor got this nasty virus and started affecting my whole computor. I took the comp to the fixing place and they told me that one of the memory cards were infected
so they took it out reprogramed windows into my computor and gave it back to me
after that my computor was so like hell
i hafta buy my own memory card
if i get the other memory card will it start getting faster again

are nvidia going to release anymore windows xp forceware for nvidia ge-force based cards
since the release of windows vista,nvidia have not released a update since november with the version 93.71
will they be bringing a updated version out,as there are millions of us xp users ,still using nvidia cards and like to update our graphics cards every now and again

My laptop was stolen, and I took its WinXP Home install CD and used it to repair an old PC (gotta cut my losses somehow). Now it wants an activation key and won't recognize the one that came with it (probably because I'm installing it on a different machine).

I have an XP Pro disk from a previous laptop (also stolen), and I want to know if it requires an activation key as well. Does year matter? The XP home disk is from 2007 (I only had that laptop for 2 months!), the XP Pro disk is from 2004.

If none of these works, I'm going to format the machine and start over with Win2k (uhh, can I go backwards like that?).

Seriously, I've been robbed twice in the span of 3 months, won't Dell and Microsoft have a little mercy on me so I can have a functional home computer???

I'm trying to install the latest AVG Anti virus. But when I try to, It tells me the installation has failed. This is the message I get:
