are nvidia going to release anymore windows xp forceware for nvidia ge-force based cards
since the release of windows vista,nvidia have not released a update since november with the version 93.71
will they be bringing a updated version out,as there are millions of us xp users ,still using nvidia cards and like to update our graphics cards every now and again

Nvidia's main concern right now is to offer better support for Vista drivers, and this doesn't mean only optimising them but enabling essential features like SLI both on Directx 9 and 10 and for OpenGl as well. This causes many problems for those that buy a computer with Vista preinstalled or buy Vista and expect everything to run smoothly. Going back to windows Xp after they paid for Vista isn't an option neither for nVidia developers nor for those who bought Vista!
This doesn't mean they won't update the drivers for Xp, but I think they won't update them until they manage to offer better support on Vista (since nvidia's drivers for Xp are better then those available for Vista at this time so they don't feel any urge to update them at this moment).
They just can't simply port it like they did until recently, meaning releasing a driver that worked the same for Xp and 2000. It's not the same Directx version anymore...
Since Xp offers extended support I'm sure they will update them as soon as possible, but in the future when all major game developers will come to support only Directx 10 I don't think they will be interested anymore for Xp drivers updates...
There are other developers, not from nVidia team, that take their updated drivers from Vista and modify them so that they could run on windows Xp. These drivers are not official beta's but sometimes they are very good. You can get them at this link:

hrm, I know Nvidia has released Forceware as recent as February.
Keep in mind the only reason they release forceware updates is for new features, OR for bug fixes. (it's doubtful), but maybe they actually worked out the major bugs in their drivers..

it should because Microsoft are going to release updates for xp until 2010

Probably...sometimes they go without releasing an update for a while. Just wait and see I guess.
