Software - March 2007

I am trying to figure out the easy way to convert minutes to hours. For example 20min +12min + 34min. I have tons of these problems. I am not sure this can be done in excel.

Ive just finished a media player in visual basic.net and I want to put it online for download but unlike my other software it needs two dll's and I dont want to use the visual studo installer so is there an easy way to put the program and dll's together?

i downloaded windows xp pro sp2 off the net and i want to burn it to a disc that is bootable. i would like to install xo on my mac using bootcamp. windows xp pro sp2 that i downloaded was an iso unziped from a rar. do i burn it as a rar, iso or do i take out all the files out of the iso and burn it? i will be using toast to burn the disc. wht do i do?

Ok...I had windows home edition on a computer I puchased.I never had the software itself, it was already on the machine.I do have the product key...Is there a way to get a copy of windows xp so I can re install it and use my product key?

At the moment whenever I try to play a song from my Limewire library, it uses its own player. I want my music to come through on Windows Media Player. Can anyone please help?

Hi, I've come across a problem on a new computer. Internet Explorer is not properly displaying links (ie, they're too big and they don't all fit on the same window, some aren't displayed, and color borders aren't displayed). It makes it very hard to logically go through a page without getting confused. Does this have anything to do with Java? I know it's running Sun Java. Could Norton 360 antivirus be blocking full java access, or something like this? But I think it has something to do with the settings, but I already spent an hour looking for a solution to no avail.

I hosted a screen shot picture of what my problem looks like when I go to Yahoo.com. Can anyone help? Thanks. Here's the link:

Im using a radeon 9600 and I can usually get a successful install by using the .exe file file in the directory. It makes no difference if I'm installing using an image or a physical disk. I'be happy to answer any other questions you have.

I just got my laptop back from formatting and I found out I have a major problem. My microsoft office doesnt allow me to use it. It got reinstalled. It also got upgraded to 2003 but I dont have a 2003 I used to use a 2000. I have all my product keys but none of them are working. I dont know what to do. I cant even contact Microsoft because they charge too much. Someone please help...

I'm getting my XP Home laptop updated to XP Pro. I intend to use it with 5-10 computers. 1) Are there any programs (besides Hamachi) that will let me view files from it from anywhere w/o installing software? And 2) Anything where I can create roaming profiles so users can log on to it from any computer? Im not sure if Pro supports this but is there any program you can get to do this? Thank you very much. I just purchased a new iMac and attempted to download the at&t yahoo internet security package and apparently my system isn't compatible. does anyone know if there is building anti-virus already on the iMac or do I need to purchase an anti-virus program?

I was cleaning out my computer and must have erased something bad. When I restart my computer I dont get a taskbar or icons and when i hit control alt del and click file run and type explorer.exe they pop up but then i get at error on "cannot find "user name" (or one of its components)" or something like that and then the taskbar and icons go away. I tryed opening in safe mode and it does the same thing. I would do a system restoration but I lost the CD for restoring it. It doesnt have a floppy drive either. What do I do?

I just installed a new printer, now Microsoft Word keeps shutting down when I try to print. I am so frustrated! The Microsoft website just tells me to upgrade - so that's no help. If this helps, here's some specs:
Microsoft Windows XP
Microsoft Word 2002
Lexmark X6170
