I can't find the installation CD. I went on HP's web site but they only offer the installation CD which would be mailed out next week. However, I want to print pictures NOW! Does anyone out there know where in the world wide web can I download the software for my photosmart 375?

Does any one know how I can get my Solidworks software to run properly? I read a prior post on here about the same issue that I am having, and I followed the links and installed the driver. It also so stated to restart the pc after installation and insert the DONGLE. I dont have one and never needed one before on my other installations of SW.

Any ideas of what I could do to bypass that error?

I'm using Microsoft Excel to organize data for my class involving Mile Times. The class of about 30 ran the mile in september and we recorded the time. They ran the mile again in December and we made a column to see the difference in time. The problem is that I'm trying to make the cells comply with a "time" format (h:mm:ss) but the numbers turn out all funny. We measured the time in minutes and seconds and would perfer to use a colon instead of a decimal since the seconds are supposed to be out of 60 and not 100. When i try to figure the difference in times my formulas/cell refernces are all funny and i get the ######### across the cell

What I would like the result to be is the september time in one column (in minutes and seconds) column two with the december time (in minutes and seconds) and the third column to be the difference in time (minutes and seconds). What format should I use and how would i go about making the formulas?

My intel iMac Crashed but I fixed it just by restarting my iMac, But when my Dell crashed I had to reinstall EVERYTHING and lost EVERYTHING im not trying tostart an argument but i spent 3 days fixing the dell and 3 seconds fixing the mac i just want to know what makes both systms crah an why the mac is MUCH easier or did I just get lucky with the mac. I currently have a windows ME op. system and am going to upgrade to XP. My question is; how do I transfer my files, documents, pics etc. to the new system? Can I save them to a CD or floppy and then install them into the XP? Help! I am clueless about this. Thank you!

It's true you can get viruses etc, which can wreck your operating system. You need to have a disc to reinstall, reinstall all the programs you ever had, and keep your files in a spot on disc where they are not affected by a system rebuild (not in Documents and Settings). You should have this plan when you start. Sharing things which are not currently available should not be illegal, so you might get a lot out of it. Use a virus checker etc, but something will probably get in every few months.
A suggestion is to keep all your program INSTALLERS in a separate file, so you can reuse them. When reinstalling the OS, install to the Partition previously used. This will erase Documents and Settings, but not other files in other places.
Anyway, what percent of users have had their OS wrecked, and how many have stayed safe, for how long? By the way, Macs are safe.
