If the song is licensed it is illegal. You can get a virus, trojan or other that's why you should use an updated antivirus program and check every song that you intend to listen to before playing it at your favorite media player.

i know a few people who have been fined thousands (under7,000) for downloading a lot. once its downloaded in a certain file, you open itunes, highlight whatever song u just downloaded and drag it in. if for some reason you move the songs in the folder into another folder, itunes won't be able to find it.

No they don't charge you and yeah you can still download a song if licensed. And you can get virus's and its illegal but I never heard of anyone getting caught by doing this.

It is illegal, but there is no way you will get caught unless you are a major uploader of copyrighted material. You can download licensed songs, and there are no fines.

nope. all those p2p products arnt illegal. so you could have kazza, bearshare, limewire, bit torrent, sharezaa- however many you want without getting court. u only get court when u start downloading copywrighted material. trouble is theres no way of finding out if somthing is copywrited without downloading it first i dont think.
hope it helped.

Well, all I can say is that major celebs are suing Limewire. That thing is bad news.

It's illegal..just stay away. Not to mention it will infect your computer with a virus.
