Im trying to send a page I made on Microsoft Works Word Proc. but I keep getting an error when I check the envalope in the task bar. Do I need to use a Hyper link Im new at this any help would be appreciated thank you

I had Linux on my computer with Windows 98 on it and I decided that I didn't like it that much. So I decided to put the original OS on the computer, Windows 98. I inserted the disk at the start up and it did the whole recovery process. Now when I start the computer, it says no operating system found. So I tried doing a recovery again, and it still didn't work. What should I do?

I tried to publish my project but it keeps to stuck on 'Writing SWF File Tags to Stream' after 'Generating Slides'. What can I do to prevent this? Anybody has any idea? Do I have to be connected to the Internet to do that?

I need it to be http download, and I need it to be able to convert from .flv format to any other reasonably popular video format. I'd also prefer one that can extract audio from video. It needs to work for Windows XP, and I'd prefer on non command line based one, although command based would be ok, if there is a good explanation thing on the site. Thanks!

hey, i just had a virus on my computer, so they had to go in and wipe out my entire system and replace it with a brand new one. as a result, i lost ALL of my programs.

i have a dvd r/rw drive on my computer, but when i insert dvds (not pirated), the only program that comes up is windows media player, and then it says it cant play my dvd.

i think i used to have something called windvd or something? i cant remember exactly. but is there some sort of program that i can get for free so that i can play dvds on my comp again???

When I download from limewire, the mpg or avi or mpeg files that I download, I am able to view. However anything that has to do with real player(or quick time) it downloads really super fast but when I attempt to play it, I get this default video of a girl dancing to some hip-hop music. What do I need to do to actually view what I download and get rid of the defauilt video. Have no problems using mpeg, mpg or avi. Thank you

Ok, so I highlight a word I typed and press the delete key. The highlighted word won't delete. Or, if I try to type new words over the highlighted word, the new words appear after the highlighted words. This is a new change to my Microsoft word. How do I fix it so I overtype the highlighted words/phrases?

I am trying to get a video on youtube after i edit and save it on Windows movie maker, but IT WONT WORK! when after i save it, and upload it on youtube i says processing, after a few minutes it says Invaild File format. PLEASE HELP!

ok, my brother installed windows on my computer, probably from a non-certified cd or something. i tried updating my "windows media player" to version 11. at which point it asks me to validate my copy of windows, which i can't do, because its not genuine. so now when i try playing .wmv files in any application (WinAmp, WMP, or DiVX) it tells me to validate my copy once again. is there some player out there ( for .wmv files) that i can use without it asking me to validate. or rather, is there a way i can validate this copy of windows. please, any thing will help :)

I bought an ACER laptop 2 years ago, and according to the geek squad I have a problem with my operating system. I have searched all over my house for the restore disc that came with it, but I can't find it. I also called the company I bought it from but apparently it's too difficult for them to answer the phone. Any ideas? Suggestions? Can I use any old XP restore, or does it have to be the one linked to my copy of windows? HELP!
