You have several options if you google the problem. One option is to go to www.youtubex.com where you copy the url of the page containing the video, and the website gives you a download link. A better option is to download firefox (www.mozilla.org), a safer, more secure web browser, and download the video downloader plugin here: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/2390/. this will allow you to just click a button when you want to download any video from the internet.

I hope this helps!

Below are two websites that claim it is possible. I have tried this one http://keepvid.com/

Enter the URL of the video and it lets you download it.

However, the file in flv format, so you will have to get a player that can play that kind of file http://applian.com/flvplayer/?src=KeepvidPlay

Or you can upload the movie to http://media-convert.com/ and let it convert it to whatever format you want.

I have tried both of the above and they seem to work fine.

There is also an extension for fire fox that allows you to download youtube videos, http://javimoya.com/blog/youtube_en.php

I wish but I can only guess not probaly because they want to follow copyrighting laws. Because technically you would be stealing someones video. Still I dont know what the real reason is.....it makes me wonder.....hmmmmmmm.......
