The llama kicks butt. Look, dude, most people,
especially around here, aren't willing to take
anything free unless it is Absolutely Free. I
use Rotten Tomatoes and they might spy on
me(they might not), but I don't pay money to
use their services, so they may track my surfing
behavior, and that's ok. The only thing I know
proof positive is I need to keep the cookie.
YOu should if you use Winamp. Winamp is
great, a lot better than the worrisome MusicMatch.
There's Something called The Something
For Something Conspiracy, and it's real, not
manufactured like all the lies surrounding JFK.
(???).Spyware becomes a problem if you surf a lot
of commercial or any kind of websites, and
you get so many files
and types of files downloaded
to your machine that it impedes
surfing performance, or it can.
Then you "clean" with Adaware
or whatever. Hope this helps.

I am using Winamp and never had any problem with spyware. Most of spyware in my PC were came from browser activity.

Just make sure you are use Winamp version 5.32 or newer.
If you have a firewall installed, you may disable winamp to access internet.

Winamp is a good media player
when ever you download software - make sure you use the "custom" set up installation instead of "automatic" set up installation process
otherwise you could be agreeing to download add-ons such as "google toolbar" or other types of junk that you don't want on your computer

No matter how much I hate Apple, I use iTunes. It's (in my opinion) the best place to store and play music from. I cannot stand Winamp and abandoned it many, many years ago.
