I've already partitioned my 30Gb drive to double boot and downloaded the ISO file to my 160 Gb SATA. I've also downloaded an image file reading program Isobuster, which appears to be the right one. Heelpppp please.

Whenever I make a room on Random US Quakenet server, and one of my friends tries to join, they join the room, but it says nobody is in there, and for me it says only I'm in there.
1] Do we have to be on the same port?

Let's say I have Firefox open and I am reading news from usatoday.com. I read about a product I might want to purchase. I open another Firefox window and direct it to Google. Now I have two windows open... usatoday and google. When I find what I am looking for on Google, I click on the link. Instead of opening a new window, it just uses the usatoday window. How do I stop it from doing that? It drives me crazy. Under tools and then options, I click on tabs. I have it set to: "New pages should be open in a new window". Please help. When I click on google, I should have three windows open at that point.

I've been experimenting with some of the free linux OS's, like Ubuntu. Especially Ubuntu with Beryl is very fun, and seems very PC/Mac like.

But what about installing other software?

Can I install "Office for Mac", or any other "for Mac" software (since Mac uses linux now).

I have got Win XP and Word XP. I have installed e-language station, so there is a small language bar on my computer screen and I can choose English or Hindi while working on MS Word files. Sometimes, when I put my cursor on the language bar to change the language, the Word file gets stuck and it does not obey any command. The system gets hanged for MS Word but I can do other works i.e. surfing the net, opening other folders. At last, I have to resort to Ctrl+Alt+Del to access the Windows Task Manager to close the Word file. This does not happen always but most of the times.

This is a very annoying problem and kills a great deal of time. What is the possible reason and how can I get rid of the same?
