I am trying to look at a online excell document and it lets me look at it for a second and then asks for my license #... I dont want to change anything or get excell for free... I just want to view this spread sheet.

You need an "Excel Viewer".

Or
You can use OpenOffice to view, print, edit, export as PDF, save back to xls, or save as other spreadsheet format.

You can get an open-source version of Microsoft Office called OpenOffice (Openoffice.org).. It has a spreadsheet, word processor, and powerpoint kind of program, as well as some math program I haven't figured out yet. You can modify and view Microsoft documents without the actual software, which really comes in handy for those not ready to shell out $100+ for the software. Hope that helps you

U have to really be using either Spreadsheet or Excel to view a 'spreadsheet' file because of the formats/macros involved...

Download the excel viewer from microsoft!! I do this for powerpoint and it works!!

you open it on a compay computer or save it to a usb jump drive and have someone else open it for u.
